As we are creating an opening to a thriller film we have looked into some thriller films we enjoy and can take ideas from to use in our opening. These ideas include character types, settings and the narrative it has. Most of the films mentioned are psychological films as we are hoping to encorporate elements of what is typically seen in psychological films.
Here we thought our killer would be the conventional stereotype, with blood and a scary face. But then we decided to make the killer more relatable since it was a thriller and not a horror.
Here are some images of what we want our locatons to look like. The common factor in all these is that it is dark.
