What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the product?
From using Wix.com, as a group, we learned how to construct pages of information, upload videos and images and incorporate music onto every page. However, one difficulty we had was that we was unable to log into the website on different computers at the same time. This made editing the website more of a longer process.
Using the DSLR cameras, we discovered that they are very sensitive to noise. This was difficult for us as our whole production was filmed outside so we have to make sure it was quiet on set and try not to film when there were loud noises in the background such as cars beeping and members of the public shouting. Additionally, we found that is was nearly impossible to film one scene in one take and we found ourselves having many takes for many scenes, even small ones.
We also used the software iMovie to edit our production. Using this application, we learned how to import raw footage, add music, add titles and slow and quicken the pace of the editing.
